With Justice League just hitting the theaters DC is ramping up more news for it's next upcoming movie this one being The Flash's first solo movie titled Flashpoint. Comic book readers will know that Flashpoint was a huge DC event when Barry Allen traveled back in time to save his mother and created the Flashpoint universe. We now get word that the movie will include one more member of the Justice League and that is none other than The Batman.
Writer of the series Geoff Johns promises that Batman will be present in this movie stating:
"There's elements in it that we're going to be playing into that we couldn't do anywhere else. The Scale of it, the Batman story of it all"
Now in the comics for Flashpoint Batman was not Bruce Wayne, it was Thomas Wayne that took the mantle after his son Bruce was killed in Crime Alley. Now we do know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan did play a brief scene in BvS as Thomas Wayne and has expressed interest in reprising his role as Thomas Wayne and what perfect way to do that then by putting on the cape for The Batman in an alternate universe. No word on which Batman will be shown in this movie so all is speculation right now.
Flashpoint is scheduled for a 2020 release date
Fox is expanding the X-Men universe more with the addition of a new spin off film called Multiple Man starring James Franco as the mutant Madrox with Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg writing the script and Simon Kinberg producing the project.
A little back story on the Multiple Man / Jamie Madrox is a character that can clone himself upwards of 100 times by absorbing kinetic impact. Madrox has been apart of the X-Men team the X-Factor, was a private detective in the "Mutant Town" Section of New York and eventually opened up "X-Factor Investigations" an agency that employed other mutants. Needless to say this is an interesting choice and a great role for James Franco to be apart of. No indication of when production of the film will start or a release date but be sure to stay tuned for more updates.

Marvel comics has reveal the next latest X-Men team to hit the comic book shelves. The comic X-Men Red will join the ranks of X-Men Gold and X-Men Blue, the team will be led by Jean Grey (Adult who is going to be resurrected soon in Phoenix Resurrection).
joining her is Namor, Nightcrawler(Who was apart of X-Men Gold), X-23 (All-New Wolverine), Gabby (X-23's clone),Gentle and a new character called Trinary.
X-Men Red is being written by Tom Taylor and drawn by Mahmud Asrar, with covers by Travis Charest, here's what Taylor and Asrar have to say about the new project:
“As an X-Men fan, as a Jean Grey fan, as a Mahmud Asrar fan, and as a Travis Charest fan, to be asked to write X-Men Red is a dream,” Taylor said in an earlier press release. “The time is right for an X-Men book like this, and I'm very excited about the story we're telling in these pages. I'm excited for Jean Grey's vision for the world, and I can't wait for Marvel readers to meet our team of established fan-favorites and brand new mutants, and to see them in action. To write a core X-Men book is to walk in the footsteps of giants, so I'm hoping my secret mutant ability is sudden foot-growth."
“Jean Grey has been one of my favorite characters ever since the Dark Phoenix Saga, so I'm pretty excited to be a part of her return,” said Asrar. “The stories we plan to tell really captures the essence of the X-Men I read lovingly growing up. It’s just a delight to be working with this team. I have been working on many components of this book, including the designs of the characters old and new, and I haven't been this eager to see the response to this book in a long while.”
X-Men Red is expect to release February 7. 2018.
Looks like Wonder Woman 2 will be arriving in theater soon than we thought. Warner Bros. has bumped the date of the sequel from December 13, 2019 to November 1, 2019.
Moving the sequel for Wonder Woman is a smart move in terms of competition with other franchises like Star Wars, which the third installment was recently moved from May 2019 to December 2019. This change allows Wonder Woman to not be in direct competition with a giant franchise like Star Wars. Stay Tuned for more updates on the matter.

This talk has been going on for weeks but no guarantee on a real deal. Reports say now that talks have been ceased for the time being but this conversation has been on again off again for some time now.
This deal would include 20th Century Fox and 21st Century Fox's movie studio which would reunite Marvel's X-Men and Fantastic Four franchise under one huge Disney Marvel Banner. Though the report also say that Disney is prohibited from owning two broadcast companies, the deal would still include cable networks like FX and National Geographic.
