Thanos's Black order is finally filling up with some casting details with Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Peaky Blinders, Love/Hate) actor has been cast for the role of Ebony Maw in Avengers: Infinity War.
The Irish actor finally let loose and told RTE radio 1 in a recent interview about his casting into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here's what he had to say:
"You sign so many documents and waivers," Vaughan-Lawlor revealed, "and people ask you about it and you have to give the generic and boring 'I can’t say too much about it.' But I am doing it and it’s really amazing and an amazing thing to be part of."
The Black Order - henchmen of Infinity War's antagonist Thanos (Josh Brolin) - were spotted throughout the film's set, and were confirmed to appear via a set of awesome statues at this summer's D23 Expo. And while the group of Thanos' "children" are expected to play a significant role in Infinity War, Vaughan-Lawlor says he hasn't gotten a big head about the whole experience.
"Any time you think you’ve in any way 'arrived'," Vaughan-Lawlor explained, "you need to ask yourself questions about your art and what you perceive yourself to be. You’ve got to focus on your work and let the rest take care of itself."
Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War is expected to hit theaters April 25, 2018.
